So here is the story, I finally got tired of working for a "company" so until I find the ultimate awesomeness coolest place to work I decided to open my own design studio, now you guys knew I had that from before, only difference now is that this is my full time job now, so I've been super busy getting the studio up and running, I have picked up a few clients and work is coming in steady, so thank God for that!

Hey guys,
I haven't been around for a bit huh, well I've been busy! The good kind of busy! I started a new marketing campaign for a client of mine and it has literally consumed all my time, unfortunately for me it has taken away from the time I spend doing my design blog, but like I said it's a good kind of busy.
But today I actually had some me time, I had created the text maybe a couple of days ago, maybe a week ago or something like that and I didn't know what I wanted for the background, the first draft of this actually had like a weird vector behind it, and as you can see I didn't think it looked right, I had also b

Well guys, I will keep trying to make this style work, I will keep trying and trying.... I don't feel this is where it needs to be.... so the text and ornaments are done in Illustrator and then brought piece by piece into Photoshop, were I paint them and apply shadows and all that good stuff. Well I do hope you guys enjoy it and I look forward to your comments!

Hey guys,
This piece-this piece lol, man I am really proud of this one, I don't know if it looks that great but through my eyes it does, this is the first time I actually tried to draw something and I'm pretty happy with the results. First I started with a mask I found on line, I dropped it into Illustrator and traced the main pieces, all separate, then I individually dropped them into Photoshop and started painting over them using the Smudge tool, I used that tool on my last piece the one with the plants, so I had a bit of an idea on how to use it, little by little trial and error really I started painting it and figuring
